QPR Train-the-Trainer Workshop

Join NALHD for an interactive 8-hour workshop to become a certified trainer to teach QPR for suicide prevention in your community.

Cost is $250 (a $495 value)FREE—for up to 1 staff person for NALHD members. With your registration fee, you get:

  • A QPR Instructor’s manual and teaching DVD, which includes power point slides, handouts, and much more
  • 25 QPR booklets and QPR wallet cards for training your community
  • A continuously updated toolkit with information on issues related to suicide
  • Support from the QPR Institute as you train QPR for Suicide Prevention in your community

By attending this event, you will learn how to effectively promote suicide prevention and teach QPR for suicide prevention. You will earn certification as a QPR trainer from the QPR Institute’s National Board of Certified Counselors. This certification is valid for 3 years.
